PACE Proposal

Thank you for the opportunity to submit a proposal to be your graphic design contractor (GDC) for PACE. I was referred to you by Bruce Baxter at AAA Printing.

Visual communication has been my vocation in Seattle since 1995 designing for large companies like Amazon.com and for start ups like Pony Tail Sportswear. I have been a freelance graphic designer since 2005 retaining both large and small clients.

Working with teams who are passionate about what they are offering to the greater community are the gems of my experience and I would welcome the opportunity to count PACE as a stand-out client.

Please read on to learn a little more about me and to view my estimate for the first project as stated in the RFP, the Slide Deck Project.

Rebecca is unique, flexible and reliable.

Clients appreciate my dedication, fresh eye and approach and know they can rely on me for their quick-turn projects.

My 20+ years experience in the Seattle graphic design community has prepared me to be the PACE go-to designer. For example, in my first graphic design job I wore many of the hats necessary in producing quality work for clients. I handled client management, project management, and print management as well as producing the creative work. This set the tone of my career and I have continued to be nimble while producing quality design work.

Since 2007, it has been a privilege to  be one of the go-to designers for Northwest Kidney Centers. I regularly produce their newsletters as well as quick-turn projects like internal signage and communications.

Recently, I was the creative arm for a 2 year engagement with the start up Pony Tail Sportswear. I handled all aspects of the brand and marketing communications including slide decks for potential investors.

My most unique project involved my graphic design, UX and artistic skills when designing an office space for my client Kimiko Energy Works. It was an energizing project that resulted in an inspiring and supportive space for her healing business.

Rebecca is an artist and supports the arts.

Public art is a budding passion of mine and I have been lucky enough to participate in the 2018 Carkeek Park Heaven & Earth X: Flourish! show. I continue to create art when I can and enjoy exploring a variety of mediums.

Depending on the year, I will hold a SAM or MoPop membership and love to take family and friends to see the exhibitions that we are so very lucky to experience here in the Pacific Northwest. Hopefully we can all return to enjoying art together in public very soon.

I have been a long-time supporter of the Roq la Rue Gallery in Seattle and I was honored to be able to redesign their website in 2019 for their 21st anniversary. I am proud of elevating the design and functionality of the site to meet the high standard of talent that is shown at the gallery.

For multiple years, I donated my design time and skills to Dare to Dance, a community dance production, by creating posters and other visual communications for their inspiring events.

I welcome the opportunity to discuss my experience further and step into the exciting momentum that PACE is creating for the art community in Bellevue.
